Sometimes I’m my biggest obstacle 

When I get in my own way, I’m inoperable

I speak to myself in ways I don’t approve

I’m tellin’ lies, not talkin’ truth

Who do I think I am anyway?

I’m a child of God, I belong to the King

I’m forgiven, no matter what I think

My past is my past, my future’s secure in Him

After all, I’m worth it all, I’m an adopted child of God

There are times I can’t conceive it

Even when You say I’m worth it

In my unbelief You prove it

When I’m tellin’ myself lies, that’s when You say

I will point you to the good news

Jesus saves and made a way for you

My life is just a clue
